Students take on the role of a Zoologist as they explore the Animal Kingdom. 🦊 Our journey begins with a visit to the Chafee Zoo, A Behind the Scenes Tour allows students to discover the wonderful and strange relationships between 🐵 living and non-living things in the environment.🦍 After the tour, we explore the Chafee Zoo to observe the structures and behavior of the animals. 🐍 Students will enjoy a light lunch at the Zoo before heading back to the Highway City Science Center to continue the workshop. 🦜 We'll discuss the highlights of the tour, conduct an animal track project and allow students exploration time with over 150 hands-on exhibits. 🦁 This camp is open to youth ages 9 -17 years.

Workshop Schedule:
9:00 am Check in at Highway City Science Center
9:45 am Travel to Chaffee Zoo - Behind the Scenes Tour of the Zoo
12:30 pm Lunch at the Zoo
3:00 pm Return to the Highway City Science Center; Zoology workshop
5:00 pm Parent pick up

Closed toed shoes required. Parent or guardian must complete and submit Recreation Pass Membership and Fresno Chaffee Zoo Permission and Emergency form by March 7, 2025. Failure to submit required forms by due date may result in cancellation of student registration. Student must participate in all day workshop.
