IMPORTANT ACTIVITY NOTE: REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Join us for an engaging camp focused on protecting Earth’s natural resources for current and future generations. Explore how we can care for and preserve the diversity of species, ecosystems, and environments. Discover ways to help protect endangered animals, with a special highlight on the once-endangered Bald Eagle and its remarkable recovery🦅. Camp projects will include creating an endangered species passport book, building a compost bin, and learning about the success story of the Bald Eagle🏞. On the final day, students will enjoy a visit to Millerton Lake🌅 for an exciting Bald Eagle Tour and a tour of the Fish Hatchery in Friant. This camp is open to ages 9 -17 years. Lunch and snack provided on Friday, January 10.

Camp Schedule:
Highway City Science Center: Tuesday, January 7, Wednesday, January 8 and Thursday, January 9, 2025 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Friday, January 10, 2025 Bald Eagle Tour at Millerton Lake and Fish Hatchery Tour in Friant 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Closed toed shoes required. Parent or guardian must complete Recreation Pass Membership prior to activity date. Student must participate in week-long camp to go on Friday's Field Trip.

Registration opens online Sunday, December 01, 2024 at midnight and closes online Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 11:45 pm. Phone registration begins Monday, December 02, 2024 at 8:00 am and ends Friday, December 27 at 5:00 pm.
